Job summary

SFS is seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. Enjoy a flexible schedule with service windows across major retailers and brands.

Projects typically involve merchandising, resets, audits, and promotional installations, offering 12–20 hours per month with some locations requiring early-month service. As a contractor, you can choose projects, report results via mobile devices, and potentially service multiple retailers.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Capable of working independently and managing multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during weekday daytime hours.
• Able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
• Reliable transportation between retail locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, via mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day of service.
