Job summary

SFS is growing, and we’re seeking experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This role offers flexible, project-based pay and the chance to work with some of the nation’s largest retailers and brands.

Assignments typically range from 12-20 hours per month, with some locations requiring service during the first two weeks of each month. If you enjoy independent work and delivering top-tier retail execution, we’d love to connect with you.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
