Job summary

SFS is expanding its nationwide network of independent contractors and seeks experienced Retail Merchandisers. This flexible role offers project-based pay and the chance to work with major retailers.

You will operate on a self-directed schedule, handling merchandising tasks, resets, inventories, and reporting via a mobile device. Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to travel between retail locations.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Available to complete assignments during retailer service windows, primarily weekday daytime hours.
• Require reliable transportation for travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as needed and approved.
• Submit project completion reports and photos on the same day services are performed.
