Job summary

SFS is growing and we’re looking for experienced Retail Merchandisers to join our nationwide network of independent contractors. This is an excellent opportunity for self-motivated professionals seeking flexible, supplemental income while servicing major retailers and brands.

Assignments are typically 12–20 hours per month with some locations requiring service early in the month. You can travel between retailers and report results via a mobile device, choosing projects that fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising, retail, resets, audits, or customer service preferred.
• Ability to read and execute planograms and merchandising instructions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
• Comfortable using mobile technology for reporting and project documentation.
• Reliable transportation for travel between locations.
• Active email address for project communication.

Responsibilities

• Review project instructions and client expectations before each assignment.
• Execute merchandising projects according to client requirements.
• Perform product resets, cut-ins, display maintenance, and promotional installations.
• Remove discontinued or outdated products and materials.
• Conduct inventory counts and product scanning activities.
• Stock and organize merchandise according to planograms and merchandising standards.
• Ensure displays are clean, organized, and accurately presented.
• Travel between retail locations as desired and accepted.
• Complete required reporting, including photos and project documentation, using a mobile device.
• Submit project completion reports on the same day services are performed.
