Job summary

Marshalls at The TJX Companies, Inc. is seeking team members to help maintain a clean store environment and operate floor care equipment such as scrubbers and buffers.

Responsibilities include dust mopping, damp mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and glass/window cleaning while following all safety, loss prevention, and operational standards. The role emphasizes cross-training across store areas to support business needs, strong customer service, and a positive store culture.

Qualifications

• Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks and run floor buffer and scrubber.

• Retail customer experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a clean and organized store environment with focus on floor care.
• Operates scrubber and buffer; dust mops, damp mops, sweeps, vacuums, dusts, and spot cleans glass and windows.
• Adheres to operational, merchandise, and loss prevention standards.
• Cross-trained to work in multiple areas to support business needs.
• Cross-trained in other store areas and supports Front End coverage as needed.
• Upholds merchandising signage standards and participates in store recovery as needed.
• Complies with labor policies, safety and security guidelines.
