Job summary

GPM Investments, LLC is seeking a Cashier/Sales Associate for Store 622 in Springfield, MA. You will greet customers, handle the register, and help with lottery, tobacco, and alcohol sales while upholding age verification rules.

The role includes maintaining store cleanliness, stocking merchandise, and assisting in other departments as needed. Flexible full- or part-time shifts with weekly pay are available.

Qualifications

• Age 18+ required.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Be prepared to stay on your feet for most of your shift, indoors and outdoors.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English effectively.
• Basic math skills required (addition, subtraction, division, multiplication).
• Capable of lifting 10 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Friendly demeanor, reliable, and detail-oriented.
• Flexible and able to handle diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in retail or customer service is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and run the register with accuracy and speed.
• Become an expert in lottery, cigarette, and alcohol sales with proper age verification.
• Offer friendly service and upsell when possible to increase sales.
• Keep the store clean and safe, including restrooms, pumps, and parking areas.
• Stock shelves, coolers, and displays to maintain fresh merchandise.
• Maintain a clean and organized store, including windows and entryways.
• Cross-train in other departments, including deli, as needed.
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
• Be a team player and help wherever needed.
