Job summary

Mercy is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for flexible RRT/CRT gig roles in the Saint Peters, MO area. Positions offer day or night shifts with no weekend or holiday requirements, and the option for 4, 8, or 12 hour shifts. W-2 employment with variable shift incentives is available.

Qualifications include CoArc-approved respiratory care education, an active RCP license, NBRC credentials (RRT/CRT), and at least one year of experience; PALS for ER, ACLS required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of CoArc approved Respiratory Care program.
• Licensure: Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license and state licensure requirements.
• Certifications: NBRC credential (RRT or CRT); PALS if ER; ACLS required.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct patient care in all aspects of respiratory care, per physician orders.
• Consults physicians on effectiveness of therapy.
• Acts as advanced resource person for physicians and nursing on respiratory care.
• Performs duties as assigned.
