Job summary

Crosswalk Health is hiring Respiratory Therapists and Pulmonary Function Technologists to perform spirometry in primary care clinics around Charlotte. The role offers daytime schedules, independence, and a supportive team focused on high-quality pulmonary care.

Qualifications

• Current CRT/RRT or CPFT/RPFT credential.
• Experience performing bedside spirometry or pulmonary function testing.
• Knowledge of respiratory therapy practices and safe albuterol administration.
• Available to work a flexible schedule.
• Comfortable commuting to clinics throughout a region.
• Bilingual English and Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities

• Visit local primary care clinics to perform pre- and post-bronchodilator spirometry testing.
• Educate and coach patients to ensure accurate, high-quality results.
• Safely administer albuterol when indicated and monitor patients throughout testing.
• Grade and upload completed testing for pulmonologist review.
• Maintain testing equipment and follow quality and safety standards.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and clinic teams while representing Crosswalk Health with professionalism and compassion.
