Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Relief Veterinarian Contractor to provide veterinary services as an independent contractor at Community Clinic locations. You will exercise independent professional judgment, focusing on preventive care and client education, with no guaranteed hours or minimum assignments.

This role supports weekday, evening and weekend clinics, ensuring care aligns with professional standards, applicable laws, and clinic documentation.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree from an accredited institution required.
• Current, unrestricted DVM license in each state where services will be provided.
• Open to both experienced veterinarians and recent graduates meeting licensing/credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite veterinarian services at weekday, evening and weekend Community Clinics for accepted assignments.
• Perform focused vitals checks (temperature, pulse, respiratory).
• Provide preventative veterinary services including vaccinations, limited diagnostic testing, microchipping, and nail trims.
• Educate pet parents regarding preventative healthcare and products.
• Complete and maintain required electronic medical records.
