Job summary

The Recreation Aid position at Air Force Global Strike Command is based at Minot AFB, ND with a flexible (Intermittent) schedule. The role performs and assists in the operation of the skills development center, sells merchandise, takes reservations and payments, and helps with stocking and display of goods.

It requires no substitution for education; open to eligible applicants under the Public path. The posted pay range is $15 – $15/hr, and work is on-site at the base in North Dakota.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Ability to handle money according to procedures.
• Familiarity with inventory and merchandising is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Operate the skills development center and assist with events.
• Sell merchandise in the resale store and process reservations and class payments.
• Ensure proper money handling procedures are followed.
• Assist with stocking and displaying merchandise.
• Support setup for special events and activities.
• Assist with inventories and safety of materials.
