Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Conduct periodontal charting and screenings
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the dentist
• Administer local anesthesia where licensed
• Provide fluoride treatments and sealants
• Take and interpret dental X-rays and related imaging
• Educate patients on preventive dental health practices
• Maintain infection control and sterilization standards for all instruments
• Accurately manage patient charts and medical records
