Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Dental Hygienist license (RDH) for the state of practice.
• Strong foundation in dental terminology and anatomy knowledge.
• Proficiency in patient assessment and treatment planning.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy.
• Ability to perform direct patient care with excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and periodontal charting.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with the dentist.
• Provide fluoride treatments and sealants.
• Take and interpret dental X-rays and imaging.
• Educate patients on preventive dental care and oral health.
