Job summary

Randstad USA is seeking quality assurance associates to support production on short-term mandates in Ronkonkoma, NY. This role offers flexibility with shifts that fit your schedule, including a 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM window.

You will perform visual checks, sort components, fill QC logs, collect samples, and communicate quality issues to supervisors. Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, and Randstad provides a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented with strong visual inspection skills.
• Able to accurately fill out inspection logs and checklists.
• Able to collect samples for testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform continuous visual checks on products coming off the line, identifying surface flaws, defects, or missing components based on clear visual standards.
• Sort accepted components from rejected materials, ensuring the accurate segregation of non-conforming items.
• Accurately fill out simple qc logs and inspection checklists to record findings hourly or batch-by-batch.
• Collect samples of materials or components at specified intervals for further testing by senior staff.
• Communicate immediately with the production operator or supervisor when recurring quality issues are detected.
