IGA Market is seeking a part-time grocery associate to join our team. This role offers flexibility, weekly pay, and benefits in a family-owned environment. You will stock shelves, assist with deliveries, and help maintain a clean, organized store to ensure a smooth shopping experience for guests.

Candidates should be friendly, able to lift up to 40 lbs regularly, and willing to perform a variety of tasks in a fast-paced grocery setting. Training on store standards and safety will be provided.

Formación

• Ability to lift 40 lbs. constantly; 60 lbs. occasionally.

• Knowledge of grocery operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.

• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods.

Responsabilidades

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with guests and hosts.
• Stock, rotate, and condition all grocery products on shelves according to standards.
• Maintain neat and safe work area for guests.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom.
• Minimize damage and shrink through inventory control and proper product handling.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise on delivery.
• Maintain sanitation standards on sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature issues to supervisor (dairy and frozen).
• Perform front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Order product for aisles as assigned.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
