Job summary

IGA Market in Gilbert, SC is seeking a part-time grocery associate to join our family-owned team. Enjoy flexible schedules, weekly pay, and benefits while helping guests find products and keep shelves stocked.

You’ll perform front-end duties, stock, maintain backrooms, and ensure clean, organized sales floors. The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and the ability to lift 40 lbs occasionally.

• Ability to bend, kneel, stand, push/pull stock carts and operate pallet jack for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly interactions with all guests and hosts.
• Stock, rotate, and condition grocery products on shelves to guidelines.
• Maintain neat and safe work area to allow guests to shop without agitation.
• Maintain organized, inventoried backstock in the backroom area.
• Minimize damage and shrink through proper inventory control and stock rotation.
• Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and backroom.
• Communicate temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
• Perform front-end duties as needed to ensure no-wait service.
• Order product for aisles as assigned by management.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.

• 6. Assist with unloading and verifying merchandise upon delivery to the store.
• 7. Maintain sanitation standards on the sales floor and in the backroom area.
• 8. Communicates temperature problems to supervisor (dairy and frozen food).
• 9. Performs front-end duties as necessary to ensure “no noticeable wait” standard is upheld and maintained.
• 10. Order product for aisles (as assigned by management).
• 11. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
