Reliant Rehabilitation in Alabama is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant to deliver therapy under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, ensuring high-quality care across partner facilities.

You will implement treatment plans, supervise Rehab Technicians as applicable, manage patient cases, maintain professional communication, and comply with all state and federal regulations governing physical therapy practice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid PTA state license.
• Commitment to compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Support patients under the guidance of a licensed PT.
• Contribute to development and sustainability of a robust physical therapy program.
• Advance clinical, professional, and leadership skills through collaboration, self-directed learning, and continuing education.
• Maintain a current and valid state license and stay informed on developments in physical therapy and healthcare.
• Understand and apply appropriate billing practices and treatment delivery models, ensuring care meets clinical and regulatory standards.
