With ASC locations in Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina, SSJC continues to expand its surgical footprint while providing high-quality patient-centered care.

We are seeking experienced and motivated Surgical First Assistants (PRN) to support our growing network of ASC locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Surgical First Assistant experience preferred.
• Associate degree or higher in a health-related field; SFA program preferred.
• Experience with orthopedic/spine procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeons with intraoperative tasks and patient safety.
• Position patients for optimal exposure and safety.
• Provide tissue handling, hemostasis, and closure assistance.
• Demonstrate proper use of surgical instruments.
• Support with wound closure and post-procedure care.
• Collaborate with anesthesia, nursing, and clinical teams.
