Optum, part of the HomeCall network, invites a Speech Therapist to join our Washington County team on a flexible PRN schedule.

You will assess and treat speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive impairments, develop plans of care, document progress, and collaborate with nurses, physicians, and families to promote patient well-being. Licensed in Speech Therapy and a valid driver's license are required; weekend availability preferred. Compensation ranges per hour with benefits where eligible.

Qualifications

• Licensed in Speech Therapy in the state of residence.
• Current driver's license, vehicle insurance, access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.

Responsabilités

• Provides services within the scope of practice as defined by state laws.
• Evaluates patient function and assists in therapy plan of care.
• Treats patients to communicate effectively and uses standard practices.
• Observes, records, and reports patient responses to treatment.
• Instructs patient and family in speech therapy activities.
• Function in diverse home situations regardless of demographic factors.
