Job summary

HealthPro Heritage in Naperville, IL is seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to evaluate and treat residents with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders. The role offers a flexible PRN schedule and opportunities to float to an ALF in Plainfield, IL.

Responsibilities include patient assessments, implementing evidence-based therapies, documenting progress, and collaborating with the care team to optimize patient outcomes. Licensure and ASHA CCC-SLP are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist, or license eligible.
• ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, voice and swallowing; develop diagnoses.
• Provide evidence-based therapies and educate patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers in multidisciplinary teams.
