Loyola Medicine in Melrose Park, IL is seeking a part-time Sonographer – Registry/PRN who will perform diagnostic ultrasound exams under radiologist supervision and follow department protocols. The role offers flexible PRN scheduling, potential call coverage, and opportunities to maintain certification while contributing to patient care with state-of-the-art imaging technology.

Applicants must have ARDMS/RDMS eligibility and graduated from an AMA-approved ultrasound program.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved ultrasound program with CAAHEP accreditation.
• Less than one year of related work experience; new grads welcome with 9-month ultrasound coursework.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.

Responsabilités

• Perform and evaluate ultrasound images following department protocols under radiologist supervision.
• Maintain patient comfort and safety while acquiring quality images.
• Document findings and assist in clinical workflow.
