Qualifications

• Completion of 2–3 years of education beyond high school in radiologic technology or ultrasonography.
• CPR certification.
• Registry eligibility required (ARRT, ARDMS, RDCS, CCI or equivalent); must obtain registry within 3 years of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and vascular ultrasonography procedures.
• Relay pertinent data to interpreting physicians and observe patients during procedures.
• Review orders and prior studies to ensure accurate interpretation.
• Adjust equipment and settings, position patients, and ensure high-quality images for permanent records.
