Job summary

Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (PRN/Flexible) to provide 1:1 adult neurorehabilitation in patients' homes and community settings across Mesquite, McKinney, and Anna, TX.

You will serve as the primary treating SLP from evaluation through discharge, create a flexible schedule (15–20 hours, 3 days/week), and work in a collaborative neurorehabilitation model with opportunities for growth and paid time for documentation and travel.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Valid SLP license in the state(s) of practice (Texas).
• Current CPR Certification in accordance with state regulations.
• Minimum of one year’s work experience as a Speech Language Pathologist.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with patient transfers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible, PRN availability and scheduling flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans for patients with speech, language, cognitive and swallowing disorders.
• Regularly reassess effectiveness of treatment plans and attend staffing meetings and family conferences.
• Perform discharge evaluations and provide home/community safety recommendations and resources.
• Communicate patient needs and progress to the treatment team, physician, patient and family members.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure coordination of care and improve patient outcomes.
