Job summary

Vital Medical Staffing is seeking dependable Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our PRN team in Louisiana. This role offers flexible scheduling, with shifts across hospitals, long-term care facilities, and clinics, often on short notice.

You will provide safe nursing care, administer medications, monitor patients, and document progress, while communicating with facility staff and following policies. Background checks and drug screenings are required.

Qualifications

• Active and valid RN license.
• Current TB test.
• Active CPR/BLS certification.
• CPR/BLS must be instructor-led and in person (online-only certifications are not accepted).
• Reliable transportation.
• Strong communication skills.
• Compassion for patients and a genuine heart for healthcare.
• Ability to work PRN and accept last-minute shifts when available.
