Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and EHR systems; able to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists and provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols and home exercises.
• Document patient treatments, progress, and responses accurately per facility policies and standards.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
