Job summary

Broadway by the Sea in Long Beach, CA is seeking a dedicated PRN Physical Therapist Assistant for our in-house rehab program. The PTA will perform screenings, deliver rehabilitative treatments, and collaborate with the care team to support geriatric patients on their recovery journey.

New grads are welcome; PTA license is required. Flexible schedule with work-life balance, competitive hourly pay, and in-house benefits are available based on hours worked and eligibility.

Qualifications

• PTA license is required.
• Open to PTAs at all experience levels; new grads welcome.
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with patient transfers.

Responsibilities

• Screen and evaluate patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care needs.
• Deliver rehabilitative treatments and interventions per clinical standards.
• Perform range of motion, therapeutic exercises, modalities, and wound care as prescribed.
• Provide counseling to patients and families; prepare discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with the care team to support the patient’s recovery goals.
