Job summary

Independence Rehab is seeking a compassionate PRN Physical Therapist to support geriatric residents across our Washington programs. You’ll evaluate, treat, and help residents regain mobility, balance, and independence in daily activities.

As a PRN PT, you’ll provide flexible scheduling, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, supervise PTAs as scheduled, and adapt plans based on patient progress. Join a therapist-owned company dedicated to meaningful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active Washington Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited PT program.
• Interest in geriatric care and functional outcomes.
• SNF experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Performing evaluations and contributing to individualized plans of care as needed
• Guiding residents through mobility milestones - first steps, safe transfers, returning home
• Leading gait, balance, strengthening, and functional training sessions
• Helping reduce fall risk and build confidence with daily activities
• Supervising and collaborating with PTAs when scheduled
• Adjusting care plans based on patient progress and clinical judgment
• Working alongside nursing, OT, and speech to support whole-person recovery
• Providing reliable coverage for vacations, caseload fluctuations, and program growth
