Job summary

Peak Vascular Access in the United States is seeking a Vascular Access Nurse (PICC RN) for PRN, flexible schedule, remote work. You will perform ultrasound-guided PICC insertions and manage IV therapies with a focus on patient safety.

Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans, document thoroughly, and follow protocols. Mileage reimbursement is provided and ideal for experienced PICC RNs seeking flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the U.S. is required.
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience with vascular access, infusion therapy, or critical care.
• Proficiency in ultrasound-guided PICC line insertion.
• VA-BC certification is highly desirable.
• BLS is required; ACLS preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for a mobile role.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound-guided insertion, maintenance, and removal of PICC lines and peripheral IVs.
• Administer IV therapies and monitor for adverse reactions during infusions.
• Educate patients on PICC line care and infection prevention.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans.
• Document assessments and outcomes per regulatory standards.
• Participate in quality initiatives to improve vascular access techniques.
