Job summary

California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy and Spine & Sport Physical Therapy is seeking a Physical Therapist for a flexible, per diem float role across Orange County outpatient clinics.

You will assess patients, design individualized treatment plans, and implement therapies to restore mobility and reduce pain. Collaboration with physicians and teams, plus documentation and patient education, are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• Doctorate or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• CPR certification and any other relevant certifications as required by state regulations.
• Strong clinical skills with experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients’ functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessments and goals, utilizing various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
• Implement and administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other interventions to improve mobility, strength, flexibility, and function.
• Maintain accurate and organized documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Monitor and document patients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families about therapy procedures, home exercises, and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
