Job summary

Rehab Solutions in North Austin, TX is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to join our Home Health team. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful patient care in the North Austin area.

As a PTA, you will implement treatment plans, provide direct patient care with therapy exercises, monitor progress, document outcomes, and collaborate with Physical Therapists and staff to ensure coordinated, high quality care.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a PTA or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and interpersonal communication abilities; proficient with EHR and therapy tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities.
• Monitor and document patient progress; report observations to the PT; educate patients and families.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and other staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
