Job summary

Boone County Hospital is seeking a Staff Speech Pathologist to deliver daily patient treatment and supervise staff within the Speech Pathology department. This role supports coordination of patient goals and ensures ethical, quality care across all ages.

The position offers a PRN or part-time schedule with benefits eligibility at 24 hours per week, with days shift and flexible 7:00 am–5:50 pm window in Boone, IA.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Communicative Disorders – Speech Pathology required.
• Current Speech Pathologist license in Iowa required.
• ASHA certification or equivalent acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and manage patient treatment and evaluations.
• Maintain and prepare department records and reports.
• Provide supervision to staff, volunteers, and students as needed.
• Deliver speech pathology services and coordinate patient goals.
