Job summary

Vertis Therapy is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapist (OT) to join Dukes Memorial Hospital in Peru, Indiana. The OT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapy services, monitor progress, and collaborate with the care team.

• OT degree from an accredited program and current state license or licensure eligibility.
• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents/patients and develop individual plans of care to improve independence and function.
• Provide skilled occupational therapy services and monitor progress toward goals.
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) as needed and ensure documentation is timely.
• Participate in team development meetings and collaborate with the healthcare team.
