Job summary

The Occupational Therapist at MultiCare's Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA, will evaluate, plan and implement occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for OT, applying service orientation, analysis and good judgment to ensure comprehensive occupational therapy care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, plan and implement occupational therapy services for in-patients and outpatients referred for occupational therapy.
• Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the plan based on patient needs and response to treatment.
• Perform treatment interventions for inpatient and outpatient populations as directed.
• Document in the medical record timely and accurate treatment progress.
• Communicate effectively with patients and other health professionals to coordinate care.
