Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs and develop treatment plans.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions to address motor skills, cognitive functions, and daily living activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment plans, progress notes and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, physical therapists, speech therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Educate residents, families and caregivers on rehabilitation techniques and daily living skills.
• Participate in therapy program development and adherence to facility policies and regulations.
• Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy through continuing education.
