Carilion Clinic in Rocky Mount, VA seeks an Occupational Therapist for a Flex/PRN role. You will assess patients, plan individualized treatment, and implement therapy aligned with age and medical diagnoses and regulatory standards.

The position requires OT licensure in Virginia, a degree in OT, and BLS within six months. Strong communication and teamwork, plus collaboration with the clinical team, are essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Licensed to practice as an Occupational Therapist in Virginia.
• Life Support: BLS certified within six months of employment.
• Experience: Home Health may require one year of clinical experience.
• Other: Effective interpersonal, communication, customer service and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care based on physician referrals and age-appropriate assessments.
• Coordinate patient care with families, therapists, physicians and other team members.
• Document in the medical record and complete care-related forms per policies.
• Supervise OTAs and collaborate with therapy staff and students.
• Participate in in-services, performance improvement, and program development as needed.
