Job summary

Lumexa Imaging, Inc. is seeking a PRN MRI Technologist to join our Augusta outpatient imaging center. This role offers a flexible schedule in a fast-paced environment where patient care and high-quality diagnostic imaging are prioritized.

Qualified candidates will be ARRT registered with MRI (ARRT-MR) certification, CPR, and IV skills. Previous MRI experience is preferred; training and collaboration with radiologists are integral to daily responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registered with advanced certification in MRI (ARRT-MR) required.
• Previous experience as an MRI Technologist preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• IV certification/skills required.
• Strong understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and MRI imaging principles.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
• Demonstrate strong knowledge of MRI safety, anatomy, and imaging techniques.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including IV administration when appropriate.
• Collaborate with radiologists and clinical team members to deliver exceptional service and quality care.
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with all regulatory and quality standards.
