Job summary

MedQuest Imaging, a trusted partner of Novant Health, seeks PRN Floating Imaging Assistants to support Technologists at the Ballantyne and Steele Creek locations in Charlotte, NC. Shifts are planned 2 weeks to a month in advance to cover PTO and other coverage needs, offering flexibility and variety.

You will assist with MRI/CT exams, patient prep, paperwork, histories, and liaison tasks between Technologist and Radiologist, with required training during the week.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPR certification required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred; entry-level acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an assistant to the Technologists for preparing patients for imaging exams and aiding the imaging process.
• Screen patients prior to exam day.
• Assist the patient in completing paperwork; obtain medical history.
• Escort patients to changing rooms and exam areas; ensure appropriate attire.
• Transport patients to and from mobile MRI or exam room.
• Assist with MRI or CT exams and equipment setup; assist with linen and supplies.
• Collate films and deliver to Radiologist; maintain inventory.
• Support with quarterly imaging inventory and reporting as needed.
• Serve as liaison between Technologist and Radiologist; perform other duties as assigned.
