Job summary

Sobe Innovative Rehab in Okeechobee, FL is seeking a licensed COTA to provide skilled occupational therapy services in patients' homes on a PRN basis. You will help older adults maintain independence and safety, working within a supportive team and documenting care accurately.

The role offers schedule flexibility, a home-based setting, and competitive compensation while enabling clinical autonomy and collaboration with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Active Florida COTA license.
• Two years of clinical experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassionate approach to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy treatments under the established plan of care
• Implement therapeutic interventions to improve patients' functional independence and safety
• Communicate with physicians, families, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Recommend and/or provide appropriate treatment equipment and adaptive devices as needed
• Educate patients and caregivers on strategies to support independence and safety at home
