Rehab Without Walls Neuro Rehabilitation in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Licensed CTRS for a flexible PRN role. You will treat neurological injuries with a 1:1 rehab focus, coordinating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.

Your responsibilities include planning recreational activities, coordinating with physicians, and aiding community reintegration while maintaining professional standards and documentation. A CTRS license and CPR certification are required.

Qualifikationen

• CPR certification is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation Therapy or equivalent; minimum two years of therapy experience.
• Knowledge of complex neurological injury and orthopedic rehab techniques; ability to obtain NRST certification within one year; maintain licensure as required.

Aufgaben

• Plan, organize and coordinate recreation activities, functional leisure skills and education; assess client capabilities and adjust programs as needed.
• Consult with physicians and rehab team on goals; coordinate activities and participate in care planning meetings.
• Develop resources by liaising with community services and outside agencies for recreational programs.
• Design community reintegration activities addressing physical and cognitive needs.
• Provide training and document training outcomes for clients and staff involved in rehab.
• Evaluate client needs, set measurable objectives with the rehab team, and adjust treatment to maximize outcomes.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality; report progress to family and rehab staff.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to treatment plans and discharge planning.
