Job summary

Mays Plus is hiring a part-time PCA to support elderly and disabled clients in their local area. You will provide personal care, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands as part of a compassionate caregiving team.

No prior experience is required, and on-the-job training is provided. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are needed, with OSBI screening required. CNA/CHHA certification is beneficial but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a mature and caring attitude.
• Works as a team member and accepts verbal and written instructions.
• Communicates well with client and team members.
• Must pass OSBI screening, have a telephone, dependable transportation, a valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
• CNA/CHHA certification is beneficial, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist elderly and disabled clients with light housekeeping, errands, bathing, personal care, and meal preparation.
• Support clients to remain in their home with dignity and respect.
• Follow care plans and document care provided as required.
