Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 with legal eligibility to work.
• High school diploma, high school equivalency or currently attending high school.
• Experience in retail or customer service preferred (6 months).
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Background check as per company policy.
• Ability to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handling cash receipts and payments in a high-volume sales environment.
• Evaluate customer relationships and recommend bank products and services.
• Follow bank policies and supervisor directions.
• Achieve monthly new account production targets as assigned.
• Participate in in-store aisle prospecting as needed.
• Process deposits and cash withdrawals accurately and balance daily transactions.
• Receive cash/check deposits, verify amounts and endorsements.
• Inspect cash for counterfeit notes and verify identification.
• Enter transactions into computer and issue receipts.
• Sell and prepare money orders, cashier's checks, wires, and CDs.
• Process Western Union wires and cash advances.
• Cross-sell bank services to a diverse customer base, including Spanish speakers.
• Perform other tasks as requested by supervisors.
