Job summary

ComForCare HomeCare - South Miami and Coral Gables is seeking a dedicated per diem Registered Nurse to join our home care team in Miami, FL. This role focuses on evaluating clients and coordinating exceptional in-home care, with flexibility to fit your schedule.

The ideal candidate holds an active Florida RN license, at least 2 years of clinical nursing experience (home health or community care preferred), and strong communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience, including home health or community care.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with insurance for in-home visits throughout Miami-Dade County.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with clients and families.
• Ability to work independently and manage time in a field-based role.
• English proficiency; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-medical evaluations and document findings accurately.
• Assist with competency evaluations of caregivers and conduct supervisory visits.
• Develop and communicate individualized care plans based on evaluation outcomes.
• Collaborate with care coordinators and home care aides to ensure continuity of care.
• Ensure evaluations comply with state, federal, and agency regulatory standards.
• Communicate non-medical evaluation results and recommendations clearly to clients, families, and care teams.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with home care guidelines.
