Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a PTA.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in assisting with therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and accurately document care.
• Experience working as a PTA in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by the Physical Therapist (PT).
• Communicate with PTs regularly regarding patient progress.
• Guide and instruct patients in therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
• Maintain accurate patient records and timely documentation.
• Educate patients and families about exercises and home care routines.
• Collaborate with PTs and healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Contribute to creating a positive clinic environment.
