Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Cozad is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join on a Per Diem basis. You will work with a Physical Therapist and care teams to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, helping residents regain independence and mobility.

The role emphasizes collaboration, documentation, and applying PT interventions such as exercises and modalities under supervision. Nebraska licensure is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher in Physical Therapy Assistant preferred.
• Current licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant in Nebraska.
• Effective communication with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of physical therapy interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapist with patient evaluations, treatment plans, and documentation.
• Provide physical therapy interventions such as exercises, stretching, and modalities under supervision.
• Work with residents to set goals, track progress, and adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and treatment plans.
