Arnold Walter Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet, NJ is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PRN) to assess residents, develop personalized treatment plans, and improve mobility and independence. You will apply modalities, educate residents, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a supportive environment.

The role requires an active NJ PT license, strong communication and teamwork, and a passion for senior rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Active, unencumbered New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills.
• Passion for working with seniors and rehabilitation.

Responsabilités

• Assess residents and develop customized physical therapy treatment plans.
• Apply therapeutic interventions to enhance mobility, strength, posture, gait, and balance.
• Instruct residents on the use of adaptive equipment such as orthotics and prosthetics.
• Select appropriate physical modalities based on residents' diagnoses and capabilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure resident-centered care.
• Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and educate residents and caregivers.
• Contribute to care planning by participating in interdisciplinary meetings.
• Supervise and train support staff, ensuring high standards of therapy delivery.
• Lead in-service education sessions for nursing and medical team members.
• Oversee ordering and maintenance of therapy supplies and equipment.
