Job summary

California Rehabilitation & Sports Therapy is seeking a Per Diem Occupational Therapist Assistant (Float) to support outpatient orthopedic clinics in Orange County. You will work under licensed OTs, assist with treatment plans, and provide patient care across multiple locations.

Flexibility is key: choose shifts that fit your schedule, with an as-needed, per-diem arrangement. OTA certification and state licensure required; prior clinical experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Valid OTA certification and state licensure.
• Prior experience in a clinical or rehabilitation setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support occupational therapists in executing treatment plans, including setting up equipment and aiding patients during therapy sessions.
• Participate in patient evaluations, record observations, and gather data to assist in the formulation of treatment plans.
• Carry out therapeutic activities as directed by the occupational therapist to improve patients' functional abilities.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment administered, and other relevant records as required by regulations.
• Instruct patients and their families in follow-up exercises and activities to be carried out at home or in other settings.
• Communicate effectively with therapists, healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care.
