Job summary

Spine & Sport Physical Therapy in Orange County is seeking a float Physical Therapist to provide per diem coverage across outpatient orthopedic clinics. You will assess patients, develop treatment plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to improve mobility and manage pain.

The role offers flexible scheduling and exposure to diverse clinical settings. Applicants must hold a valid PT license, with coursework or experience in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric PT.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist.
• CPR certification and any other state-required certifications.
• Strong clinical skills in orthopedic, neurological, or geriatric physical therapy (preferred).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and with a team.
• Proficient computer skills for documentation and record-keeping.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patients' functional abilities and goals.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using various modalities.
• Guide therapeutic exercises and manual therapies to improve mobility and function.
• Maintain accurate progress notes and documentation of outcomes.
• Educate patients and families on therapy procedures and home programs.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
