Interim HealthCare Staffing in Bristol, CT is seeking an Occupational Therapist for per diem assignments across nursing homes, rehab centers, and clinics. You will assess patients, develop therapy goals, and collaborate with a team to deliver high‑quality care.

The role requires CT OT licensure, CPR, and at least two years of medical facility experience. You’ll join a patient‑focused culture that values flexibility, ongoing CEUs, and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Graduate OT program completion and CT OT licensure.
• CPR certification and current clinical competencies.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of state/federal healthcare laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy to patients unable to perform daily tasks due to illness or injury in nursing homes, rehab centers, clinics, and hospitals.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, CNAs, PTs and SLPs to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist physician in evaluation of patient function, deficits, fall risks and adaptive equipment needs.
• Assess patient, establish therapy goals, document progress and modify therapy as needed.
• Educate patients and family on exercises, safety and self-care.
