Job summary

IVIRMA Global in Sandy, Utah, is seeking a Per Diem Medical Assistant to support our outpatient clinical team. The role offers flexible shifts, Monday–Sunday availability, and the chance to contribute to high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer applications.
• Phlebotomy experience required or strongly preferred.
• Medical Assistant certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for appointments, exams, and procedures.
• Obtain and document vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide patient education and reinforce care instructions.
• Support clinic workflow and patient flow.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection.
• Document patient information in EMR.
• Prepare, clean, and stock exam rooms.
• Maintain clinical supplies and assist with inventory.
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
