Job summary

New Hope Community in New York invites applications for Direct Support Professional (DSP). As a DSP you will provide holistic support to individuals with I/DD, assisting with daily living activities and community participation.

No experience required; we offer extensive training. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid NYS driver's license, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. The role features flexible per-diem hours and competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED or Equivalency.
• Clean NYS Driver's License.
• Ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily living support including personal hygiene, dressing, and meals.
• Assist with medical appointments and medication administration.
• Support residents in social and community activities.
