Job summary

Lutheran Senior LIFE (LSMNJ) is hiring per diem, as-needed Certified Home Health Aides (CHHA) to care for participants in Hoboken. The role offers flexible scheduling with an hourly rate of $18.92.

Under the supervision of the Home Care Coordinator/Registered Nurse, aides assist participants at home following individualized care plans, with required education and licenses in NJ. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; CHHA license -- New Jersey; valid driver’s license with auto insurance; safe driving record.
• Knowledge of home health aide practices, safety standards and equipment use.
• Ability to communicate clearly and establish effective relationships with patients, co-workers and the public.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants in their homes with duties essential to health according to individualized care plans.
• Under supervision of the Home Care Coordinator/RN, follow care plans and maintain safety protocols.
